Jack Uldrich’s “Friday Future 15:” July 5, 2019

Posted in Future, Future 15, Futurist, Think

Due to the Fourth of July Holiday weekend, this week’s “Future 15” has been reduced to the “Future 5.”

Think: The World in 2030: Nine Megatrends to Watch. Worth 15 minutes of your thinking time … especially the author’s thoughts on “How Businesses Should Prepare.”

Think Smarter: 5 Coming Breakthroughs in Energy and Transportation. This article has a wealth of fun facts, but the idea of new “vehicle formats” is something I intend to spend some more time thinking about.

Think in Questions: What Will Amazon’s Next 25 Years Look Like? Thinking about “next order” implications is the key.

Think Anew: Women Score Higher Than Men in Most Leadership Skills. Do you have the right person leading your team, organization, or company? Are you sure? You might want to think anew.

Think Sustainably: Paris Plans “Urban Forests” at Famous Landmarks. Parking spots will give way to “mini gardens” and small “islands of freshness” will soon be created in the City of Lights.

Want to think again? You can always revisit last week’s “Future 15”.

Until next week: Don’t stop thinking about the future! But also never forget “It is easier to act your way into a new way of thinking than think your way into a new way of acting“!
