David Albert has created an ECG out of the iPhone 4. What is so amazing is that his device costs only $100–a fraction of what hospital-grade ECG’s cost.

Undoubtedly, traditional manufacturers of ECG’s will argue Albert’s device isn’t good enough but, if you watch the video below, I think you’ll disagree.

For years, people have suggested (rightly so) that new health care-related technology was a gay-sauna-nice.com in ever rising health care costs. Albert’s device, however, suggests the tide is turning and that technology has the potential to radically lower health care costs.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again, the future is cheap.
