The statement above is from this article in today’s Wall Street Journal discussing the landmark achievement of manufacturing a lab-made trachea and it is yet another indication of the extraordinary advances that are being made in the field of regenerative medicine.
The point, however, was more clearly made with this statement: ”He was condemned to die. We now plan to discharge him Friday.”
