There are some new ski goggles out which will record everything the wearer sees. (For a demonstration watch the video below. You only need to watch the first 30-seconds to get the general idea.)

What is interesting is how this technology may soon morph into eyeglasses and eventually, perhaps, something even more discreet (contact lenses?) When this happens it will have all sorts of interesting implications: privacy may be violated (“no eyeglasses allowed in the locker room”); crime reporting (“Did you see the accident, son?”); and even daily life. Imagine, for example, being able to see the exact problem your mechanic is describing on car or what your college-aged niece is seeing (in real-time) on her trip to Tanzania.
