The field of 3D printing or additive manufacturing is advancing rapidly. I recently explained how innovative researchers at MIT are already constructing musical instruments such as flutes using the technology. Now other researchers have printed a bike and, in the not-too-distant future, it will be possible to print body parts such as kidney’s–as Anthony Atala explains (and demonstrates) in the video below.
