There is a new kind of eyeglass available which allows the wearer to manually adjust the lens to provide a clear, undistorted vision regardless of whether the person is reading a book or scanning the horizon. The eyeglasses were highlighted in this recent article, but I especially liked this quote which called the technology "a paradigm shift in the way it addresses a problem that has been handled the same way for many years." Unlearning is all about doing and seeing things in a new way.
Perhaps, inventors can next develop a pair of eyeglasses that help remove the beliefs, assumptions, habits and ideas which distort our views.
