In a world changing as rapidly as ours, let me ask you a simple question: When was the last time you changed your mind?

If you are having a difficult time answering this question (and many people do), you may soon be in for a rude awakening because big change is coming.

Remember: It is not the strongest who survive but, rather, those who adapt the quickest—and it is difficult to adapt if you have not first changed your thinking.

To answer my own question, I have recently changed my mind on two important topics.

First, I had been withholding judgement on the transformative impact of artificial intelligence. For the past year, I have been hovering below—and not quite accepting—the beliefs of those who were hyping AI as being “bigger electricity.”

I have now changed my mind.

If you have not yet  familiarized yourself with Claude AI’s new tool “Cowork,” please do so ASAP! It should change your mind as well. (In my opinion, it is worth spending $20 a month for the most advanced version of Claude AI).

This article outlines my thoughts better than I could, but to help you understand the transformative power of Claude’s breakthrough consider this nugget: The day after the new AI was released, it wiped $300 billion off the market cap of those legal, financial and advertising companies that will be adversely affected by its disruptive power.

I was also recently struck numb by Eric Schmidt’s call to “pull the plug” on AI.

When the former CEO of Google and a longtime proponent of AI says AI is out of control that catches my attention and it should catch your attention as well.

I repeat, again, big change is coming.

Secondly, I am shifting my political beliefs. I now believe that my political beliefs must transcend traditional politics to include matters of spirituality.

Foremost amongst this change is that I now firmly believe we are spiritual beings and our long-term survival and, ultimately, our salvation lies in the re-realization of this truth.

On a related note, I continue to write daily on Substack under the moniker, ‘The Sprouting Acorn.” My writing seeks to take my intuitive “knowing” of our connection to a Higher Power and advance this knowledge in the direction of a more objective understanding of this truth.
