So begins Ralph Waldo Emerson’s classic book, Self-Reliance.
The Latin phrase translates to “Do not search outside yourself.”
It is wonderful advice.
It is easy to think and believe that everyone else needs to unlearn. The true key to unlearning, however, is to focus on yourself.
