A few years ago, I encouraged the “Exponential Executive” to Think 10X, Not 10%. In this same spirit, I provide a link to this interview with Regina Dugan, the head of DARPA, which is working on a hypersonic program that is “not Mach 2, not Mach 3 [but] Mach 20.” It’s a great example of “exponential” thinking.
P.S. In case you’re wondering, a Mach 20 hypersonic plane could reach any point in the world in less than an hour.
