The other day I suggested unlearning the "to do" list. It's a specific strategy for unlearning the idea that action equals movement. This equation only holds true if you are focusing on priority issues.
As a visual reminder of this message, I invite you to look at the optical illusions to the right. It appears as though the spheres are moving, right? Well, they're not. (Just stare at any one element of the sphere.)
You do much the same thing when you convince yourself that checking off everything on your "to do" list is synonymous with progress. It is not! You may be giving off the illusion of movement, but if you're not focused on the most important matters you're not really moving forward.
