Stay Open to Vague, but Interesting Ideas

Posted in Future, Futurist, History, Humility

30 years ago today, Tim Berners Lee wrote a proposal for an information management system. His boss at CERN replied, “vague but interesting” to his idea. In time, Berners-Lee proposal would become the World Wide Web.

It makes me wonder how many other “vague but interesting” ideas are being proposed around the world, today.

My advice: Stay humble and keep an open mind. The Internet, Blockchain, CRISPR all began as “vague but interesting ” ideas but, as we now know, such ideas can change the world.
