I love the above quotation from Hebert Simon. Now, take a look at the picture above. It is a symptom of our times.

Sometimes obtaining that one more piece of information will lead to real knowledge or some great insight, the reality is that more often than not it’s just noise.

Less can be more. My advice: Disconnect from the Internet, mass media, TV, etc. and spend more time walking, reading books, writing and thinking. Your odds of obtaining real knowledge and useful insights will drastically increase.
